TC Blockheads are regional Grand Champions

The TC Blockheads walked away as the Grand Champions for the second year in a row at the regional competition for First Lego League.  The annual competition was held December 3rd at Lewis Central in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  This team consists of Alex Corrin, Cael Corrin, Karis Corrin, Kyla Corrin, Michael Denning, Brant Freeberg, Brecken Freeberg and Olivia Matson.  The Blockheads were presented with the Robot Performance Award for high robot-run score, the Global Innovation award for their community project and the overall Grand Champions award.  The Global Innovations award is the highest award given for the project portion of the competition.  Their project will advance on to compete at the state level and if selected, will advance to the world competition. The Blockheads will advance as the regional winner onto the state competition in Ames, Iowa on January 15th.  The team is coached by Chris and Shiloh Corrin.
