Update on Incident in Neola

posted Oct 14, 2015, 1:27 PM by TC Administrator
Good afternoon Tri-Center families.  We wanted to let families know about a situation in Neola that created a response for us at school this afternoon.  At about 1:35 we were notified that Farmers and Merchant's Bank in Neola had been held up.  Students were quickly accounted for and the Pottawattamie County Sheriff was contacted by Tri-Center staff.  At this time we were advised to carry on our school day as routinely as possible.  During this time the parking lots and exterior of buildings were monitored by the Sheriff and school administrators.  At approximately 2:10 Tri-Center staff was advised to carry on the remainder of our school day and dismissal with normal routines.  Tri-Center staff responded quickly, which meant students, buildings, and faculty were safe through this entire incident.
