Volleyball News: Junior High Volleyball performs well against Lo-Ma and Audubon

9/16/14  HIGHLIGHTS FROM JH VOLLEYBALL GAME with Lo-Ma on Sept. 15--Congrats!:  The 8th grade volleyball team beat Lo-Ma 5-0 to win the match.  The A Team won 21-9 and 21-5, the B Team won 21-15 and 21-17, and the C Team won 21-13. Lilly Dahir served 6 points, while Brooklyn Hundt, Triston Hughes, Addy Fischer, Alyssa McDermott, and Torie Thayer served 5 points each.  The 7th grade results--A Team Lost 18-21 and 13-21--B Team Lost 10-21 and 9-21.  Highlights in the first set of the A game:  Chloe Jess served for 7 points.  Kelsi Stamp had an assist to Amanda Brich's kill.  In set 2, Kelsi Stamp had two ace serves.  Paige Skow had an ace serve and 3 points served.  Charlotte Guerrero had one ace serve.  In the B game:  Jordan Rockwell had a served point and two attacks.  Jenna Handbury had an ace serve and two attacks.  Logan Schroeder had an ace serve.  Sage Schroder had one attack. 

9/16/14  HIGHLIGHTS FROM JH VOLLEYBALL GAME with Audubon on Sept. 11--Congrats on wins!:  In 7th grade, Team A and Team B both won.  The 8th grade VB team went 21-6, 21-8, 21-6, 21-10, and 20-22 to take the match 4-1 over Audubon on Sept. 11.  In game one Emma McDonald served 12 straight points, while in game three Alyssa McDermott served 7 straight points.  Sophie Driver served 6 points in game five.  Coach Elliott said, "It was a good start to our season and I look for the girls to continue to improve."  Coaches Sarah Elliott, Becky Thomas, and Kim Sherman.
